Men's Ministries
Men’s Ministry at Christ Church is hoping to provide several social events in the coming months:
The following ideas have been offered, but we are not limited to these ideas!
1. Bocce Ball, BBQ and Football or Bocce Ball, Low Country Boil and Football
2. Beer & Brats - Perhaps at Fr. Marc's with beer tasting, Bratwurst, Bocce Ball, Horse Shoes and fishing. It could also coincide with a GA game.
3. A Fishing Expedition - Several boaters taking men out for a day fishing.
4. A Holiday Meal for Women at Christ Church - Men would assist our Deacon/Chef in preparing and serving a very nice meal to all the women of Christ Church.
We will need to charge a small fee for each event ($5), and probably a larger fee if we do a fishing expedition. Pray that the Lord will build a Godly fellowship of men who will strengthen and lead their families and this parish for years to come.

Children's Ministries
Nursery
The Nursery is open to children from birth to 3 years old. It is open from 8:45 until 12:30 on Sundays and during other church events as needed. There are two separate nurseries to accommodate the needs of the children—an Infant Nursery and a Toddler Nursery, both located on the second floor of the Parish House at 18 Abercorn Street. It is our priority at Christ Church that children are safe and that their needs are met during their time in the nursery.
If you love babies and could commit to volunteer once or twice per quarter, the children of our church need you! This commitment would be during the 10:30 service to rock, feed, or play with the youngest ones in our church. Miss Liz, our paid nursery worker, is also in this nursery on Sunday mornings, but we need to have at least one more person to help in this room each week. There are currently up to 6 people volunteering each week (1-2 during SS and 1-2 in each of the two nurseries during church).
If you’d prefer to help during during special church events, there is a need there as well. Please contact Meg Welch, at the church office. 232-4131
Sunday School
It’s important for all of God’s children to know what we believe both for our own growth and world view, as well as to be able to give an account for what the Bible teaches. For this very reason, we offer Sunday School every week at 9 a.m. for the children in grades PreK-5th. If you would like to teach - our curriculum is simple to follow - or volunteer as a teacher's assistant please contact Meg Welch at the church office 232-4131
Vacation Bible School
Brings children together to learn more about Jesus, the Bible and Christian faith through music, arts & crafts and Bible story-telling.
