Post Conference Letter from an attendee:
Dear Sharing Our Faith Committee,
Thank you or your hard work toward the wonderful " Good News Initiative " conference. God was truly glorifiied and present. I brought a friend Satuday night - and she was teary the whole drive home. I knew I didn't have to add a thing to the message she received. It was truly a God -thing that I even invited her, but I saw her walking on Saturday when I came home from the conference at 3:30 pm. She was not one of the three people I'd planned to invite, but she was the one who came. She also took advantage of the free Bibles. She only had a hugh family Bible handed down from her Mom. She now has her own Bible and plans to join a Bible Study here. So, if God planned this whole conference around her conversion/recommitment, then glory be to God.
Still amazed by His Grace,
Your sister in Christ

About Michael Green:
Michael Green is a British theologian, Anglican priest, Christian apologist and author of more than fifty Christian books. He serves as the Canon Missioner of Holy Trinity Church in Raleigh, North Carolina.
One of Green’s objectives has been to equip lay Christian believers in their grasp of the gospel message, giving them confidence to converse with others about faith matters. These practical objectives are very clear in books such as Evangelism, Now and Then and Sharing Your Faith with Friends and Family. At a technical level Green has contributed a valuable academic study of the praxis and theory of evangelism in Evangelism in the Early Church. This work explores the development of evangelism through the New Testament texts and from the early church fathers, and is a basic text in Christian missions. He has built on those foundational studies in his advocacy of evangelism at a parish church level, both through his personal ministry and in his book Evangelism Through the Local Church. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Green_(theologian) .
