THE REVEREND HELEN SLINGLUFF WHITE, ASSISTANT FOR CHILDREN & FAMILY MINISTRIES


The Rev. Helen White joined the staff of Christ Church in May of 2015 as the Assistant for Children and Family Ministries.  She coordinatesSunday School, Children's Chapel and other programs involving the children of Christ Church.  On the Diocesan level, Helen currently serves as a chaplain for Clergy Spouses, an Examining Chaplain, and a member of the Columba House Advisory Board.  


Prior to serving at Christ Church, Helen served as the Vicar at All Saint's on Tybee Island and the Assistant at St. George's in Savannah.  She also served as a chaplain to Armstrong State University.  She is a graduate of Virginia Theological Seminary (MDiv), Georgia Southern University (MEd) and Furman University (BA in Religion).


Helen is married to the Rev. Michael White and the mother of two sons, Ethan and Jay.
