THE REVEREND J. SIERRA WILKINSON REYES, ASSOCIATE RECTOR
 

The Reverend Julia Sierra Wilkinson Reyes has served Christ Church as its associate rector since 2011. She joyfully shares with the rector in the leadership of Christ Church, with oversight in youth ministry, religious education, and congregational life.

She is a graduate of Agnes Scott College, Harvard Divinity School, and the University of Cape Town. She enjoys studying African Anglicanism, with particular interest in the Krio people of Freetown, Sierra Leone.

The Reverend Wilkinson Reyes is a member of the Commission on Ministry for the Diocese of Georgia and has served as deputy to General Convention 2003 (official youth presence), 2006 (lay deputy), and 2015 (clergy deputy). In the community, Reverend Wilkinson Reyes serves on the Board of Chatham-Savannah Citizen Advocacy, a local non-profit committed to matching citizens in advocacy relationships to overcome the stigma of disability.

She is married to Mr. Rudolph Reyes, who is also a graduate of Harvard Divinity School.
