The Choirs

Parish Choir

Each Sunday, our Parish Choir offers musical support of our common worship at the 10:30 a.m. Holy Eucharist and during special services throughout the year. The Parish Choir sings an anthem and a psalm from the Anglican chant tradition each Sunday morning, and offers support and depth to the congregational music throughout the service. The choir is a community of care, support, and fellowship with regular social gatherings for members. Choir rehearsals are held each Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m. through the program year (Labor Day-Trinity Sunday) and on Sundays before the 10:30 a.m. service. All are welcome to join! Please contact George Fergus at george.fergus@ccesavannah.org or speak with a choir member after one of our services for more information.

Christ Church Schola

The Christ Church Schola is a small group of singers within the Parish Choir who offer additional musical support to Eucharist liturgies, Evensongs, and other special services throughout the year. The Schola is comprised of both volunteer and paid singers, and offers another level of musical involvement for singers who wish to contribute in more ways to the worship life of Christ Church. Rehearsals are held directly after the Parish Choir rehearsal on Wednesday evenings. To learn more and schedule an audition, contact George Fergus.

Staff Singers

The Staff Singers are a team of professional singers who provide the backbone of choral support for the music and liturgies at Christ Church. They serve as section leaders in the Parish Choir and Schola, and sing separately on occasion as needed.

We currently have a vacancy for a Bass/Baritone singer. To read more about the position, please click here. For more information or to apply, contact Director of Music George Fergus.

Bless, O Lord, us thy servants, who minister in thy temple; Grant that what we sing with our lips, we may believe in our hearts; and what we believe in our hearts, we may show forth in our lives; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
