Concerts at Christ Church create music with the intention to spark connection, conversation, and action. We seek to bring people together to create a lasting sense of belonging and a better vision for our collective future.
This coming season, we are thrilled to announce our Community Partner program! We believe that music can be a powerful force for good, connecting us all to each other and to our community. Using this connection, we can make a positive difference in this city we love.
Each concert features a Community Partner, a non-profit organization based in, and working in, our local community. When you attend a concert, you will have the chance to learn about the vital work these organizations are doing, as well as learn how to get involved directly or donate to their mission.
Tickets for concerts this year are FREE – you have the option to make a donation when you reserve your tickets, and that donation will be split equally to support both this concert series and our community partner.
Spirituals Reimagined
Friday, October 2, 2026 | 7:00 p.m.
Roger Moss, baritone; Assaf Gleizner, composer and pianist
Roger Moss and Assaf Gleizner premiere a new set of spiritual arrangements for voices and strings, featuring local musicians from across multiple genres!
This concert partners with Young Men of Honor, an educational enrichment program serving underprivileged young men ages 8-18. The program helps inner-city at-risk males develop through their formative years by creating a nurturing environment focused on the total individual.
Admission | This concert is FREE and open to the public. To manage capacity, ticket reservations are requested. A $15 donation is suggested; donations can be made when reserving tickets, or via the basket available as you enter the church.
Runtime | The program will last about 65 minutes.
Children | Children are welcome at this concert. Out of respect for other guests, we ask that you step out to the narthex with your child if they become disruptive. Parking | Be sure to leave time to find parking in the downtown area; street parking is metered until 8:00 p.m., and garages are available in close proximity to the church.
Carols & Cocoa

Bring the whole family and enjoy the lighter side of Christmas with this concert by Director of Music George Fergus performed on the new Tricentennial Organ! Tap your toes to seasonal classics and fun carol arrangements, and request your favorite hymns and carols for a sing-along, all followed by a festive cup of hot chocolate and some Christmas cookies on the front porch of the church.
This concert partners with Project Smile, a non-profit dental mission based in Savannah serving underprivileged children in Belize since 1992. Every year, various teams of volunteer dentists, along with auxiliary personnel, travel to St. Mary the Virgin Anglican Church in Belize City where the team works in a permanent seven-chair dental treatment facility in an unused classroom at St. Mary’s School. Gradually, the program has expanded to meet other needs at the school, including providing hot lunches, playground safety and equipment, and even a computer lab.

At the Gates of Heaven: Bach Motets and the Durufle Requiem

Esteemed Savannah choral ensemble Musica Atlantica returns for this concert of works featuring both of Christ Church’s magnificent organs. Hear a selection of the double-choir motets of Johann Sebastian Bach accompanied on the church’s Taylor & Boody continuo organ, then experience the transcendent power of Maurice Duruflé’s Requiem for choir and organ, masterfully orchestrated by international concert organist James Kealey on the Tricentennial Organ.

Runtime | The program will last about an hour and 45 minutes, with a 15 minute intermission.

Pergolesi: Stabat Mater

Giovanni Pergolesi's Stabat Mater is considered one of the masterworks of the Italian Baroque period, its achingly beautiful phrases evoking the pain and anguish of the suffering and death of Christ. Set in this performance with sparse orchestration and paired with other works by contemporaries J.S. Bach and Vivaldi, we invite you to dwell in the beauty and power of these works from the heart of the Baroque.

In darkness, we find peace. In turning to the light, we find direction and purpose. Begin your new year with a meditative candlelit concert and spend some time in peaceful reflection after the busy holiday season. Journey with us from darkness to light, beginning from a single candle and radiating outwards until the entire church is lit by an illuminating glow.

The Joy of Christmas: A Community Celebration
The Combined Choirs of Christ Church

Ring in the Christmas season in this festive benefit concert! Join in singing familiar hymns and carols, hear the choirs of Christ Church sing anthems and carols both ancient and modern, and support one of Savannah's longstanding non-profit organizations.
Emmaus House, a component of United Ministries of Savannah, provides warm meals, laundry, and showers to those in need every weekday morning. Now in its 42nd year of operation, Emmaus House provides over 43,000 hot meals each year to anyone in need. Your donation makes a difference! 100% of the funds donated at this concert go directly to supporting the crucial outreach of Emmaus House and address food insecurity in our city.
Admission | Free tickets will be available starting November 1 by visiting our Eventbrite page. Tickets ensure that you can get a seat without standing in a long line, and enable us to maintain required safety and capacity standards. A suggested donation of $15 at the door goes directly to benefit Emmaus House, a local non-profit serving the unhoused community in Savannah.
